Two employees killed in Dallas hospital shooting, police at scene



Two employees were killed in a shooting at Methodist Dallas Medical Centre on Saturday morning, according to the local health system

The incident reportedly took place at approximately 11 a.m. local time. Methodist Health System police, along with Dallas police and Dallas Fire-Rescue, responded to an 'active shooter call' at the hospital.

"The Dallas Police Department is assisting the Methodist Health System Police in their investigation into the shooting deaths of two employees on October 22, 2022. Following a preliminary investigation, Methodist Health System Police arrested Nestor Hernandez, 30, for Capital Murder.

Hernandez is currently on parole for aggravated robbery and had an active ankle monitor," Dallas Police Department's statement said.
