Russia-China trade turnover up 33% in 10 months of 2022


The trade turnover between Russia and China in January-October 2022 soared by 33% year-on-year to $153.94 billion, China's General Administration of Customs reported on Monday.

According to published data, China's export to Russia gained 12.8% within ten months of this year to $59.6 billion. Imports of Russian goods and services increased by 49.9% to $94.34 billion.

Crude oil, natural gas and coal comprise the bulk of China's imports from Russia. Other key exports from Russia include copper and copper ore, lumber, fuel and seafood.

In turn, China mainly exports smartphones, industrial and specialized equipment, toys, footwear, motor vehicles, air conditioners and computers to Russia.
